In 2015, more than 37,000 customers began or ended their journey at the High Point station, which is served by the daily Carolinian (New York-Charlotte), Piedmont Service (Raleigh-Charlotte) trains and the Crescent (New York-New Orleans). The state-owned Piedmont and the state-subsidized Carolinian are primarily financed through funds from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
