Fort Edward station (Fort Edward, NY) (FED) restoration is in the process of selecting three companies to work on the $360,000 restoration of the 100-year-old station.  Money is being drawn mostly from state and federal grants, with about $30,000 coming from the town in matching funds. The station, built in 1900, serves as a midway point between New York City and Montreal. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. (April 24, 2008)
